Precautions and maintenance for the use of filter equipment: Before using the stainless steel filter, you must check whether the accessories and sealing rings are complete and whether they are damaged, and then install it as required.

The new filter must be cleaned with detergent (please don’t use acid cleaning). After washing, use high-temperature steam to sterilize, disinfect, and clean the filter to avoid contamination.

When installing the filter, do not connect the inlet and outlet reversely. The port on the side of the bottom plate of the pipe filter is the liquid inlet, and the pipe connected to the filter element socket is the clean liquid outlet.

What’s new is that the manufacturer must not tear the plastic packaging if it is packaged in a plastic bag in a clean production plant. Use a more demanding filter element and go through high temperature steam sterilization after installation.

When inserting the filter element into the opening, the filter element must be vertical. After inserting the opening, the pressure plate buckles the tip fins, and then tighten the screws and don’t move. After the entrance of the filter element of the 226 interface, it should be rotated 90 degrees and clamped. This is the key to the installation. If you are not careful, the seal will not be achieved, and the water leakage will be easy, and the use requirements will not be met.

The pressure gauge of the cylinder is a liquid pressure indicator. If it is a secondary filter, it is normal that the index of the first filter pressure gauge is slightly less. The longer the use time, the pressure will increase and the flow rate will decrease, which means that most of the filter element gaps have been If it is blocked, flush or replace with a new filter element.

When filtering, the pressure used is generally about 0.1MPa, which can meet the needs of production. With the increase of time and flow, the micropores of the filter element will be blocked and the pressure will increase. Generally, it should not exceed 0.4MPa. The maximum value is not allowed. Over 0.6MPa. Otherwise it will damage the filter element or be punctured. Special care should be taken when using precision filters.

When the production is finished, try to discharge the filtrate as much as possible. The downtime is not long. Generally, do not open the machine, do not unplug the filter element, or store the filtrate overnight. The filter element and the filter must be cleaned when the machine is stopped (recoil method can also be used) .

Optional matching use, pay attention to the required flow, pressure, pump head to match, the selection is generally suitable for vortex pumps, infusion pumps, etc., centrifugal pumps are not applicable.

Maintenance method of filtration equipment 

If the filter is not used for a long time, the filter must be cleaned, the filter element must be removed, washed and dried, sealed with a plastic bag to avoid contamination, and the filter should be wiped and stored without damage.

The replaced filter element should be soaked in acid-base lotion for no more than 24 hours. The temperature of the acid-base solution is generally 25℃-50℃. It is recommended that the ratio of acid or alkali to water is 10-20%. The filtrate and filter element with higher protein content are best to be soaked in enzyme solution, and the cleaning effect is good. If it is renewed, it must be cleaned and then steam sterilized. Cleaning and disinfection is very important for water filters and filter dryers.

When sterilizing the filter element, pay attention to the time and temperature. It is appropriate to use 121℃ for polypropylene in a high-temperature disinfection cabinet, and use steam for sterilization at a steam pressure of 0.1MPa and 130℃/20 minutes. It is suitable for polysulfone and polytetrafluoroethylene. Steam sterilization can reach 142℃, pressure 0.2MPa, and the appropriate time is about 30 minutes. If the temperature is too high, the time is too long, and the pressure is too high, the filter element will be damaged.
